Dinosaurs Movie & Alternate Dinosaur Skins

Skins I basically feel like should be added in the game sometime in the future to make this feel even more connected with the movies and of course a couple of alternate skins from the toys....1+ if you agree

The Basic Nasutoceratops, Apatosaurus, and Spinosaurus skins are based on their film-canon appearances. We also already have a 1997-inspired skin for the Pteranodon in the Rainforest Pattern. A more accurate Lost World-style Pteranodon would require a remodel, as would a Battle at Big Rock Allosaurus and Jurassic World-style Pteranodon, although I definitely agree that those latter two would be awesome additions! As far as toy-inspired skins go, I doubt we'll see them since we haven't had any skins that resemble any specific toys very closely so far, but I do think they'd be neat additions that could be released as Skin Collections in the same manner as the Raptor Squad though! I'd also like to throw in the Jurassic World designs of the Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, and Edmontosaurus (as a slight remodel removing the crest and maybe changing the dinosaur's size) as suggestions.

Nasutoceratops Male should be at it because we already have both male and female dinosaur skins in the game thanks to return to Jurassic Parkas you can see the comparisons between the two sexes of the Nasutoceratops they're both completely different and awesome and I would love the male Nasutoceratops skin to be added.

The blue Alternate skin for the original Movie Brachiosaurus skins is based off the toy that was released so why not have the spinosaurus have alternate skins similar to both the prime attack spinosaurus and the JP 3 spinosaurus toy skins as well also the basic spinosauruskin as we see in the game it's okay but it doesn't really have the details like in the movie because return to Jurassic Park added the details to the T-Rex the velociraptor and brachiosaurus and stegosaurus and Triceratops to make it look similar from the moviesso why not add to skin that resembles it more closely.

I've had a problem with the apatosaurus in the game it's too chunky around the legs and its tail doesn't move as much like in the movie it just kind of reminds me of a brontosaurus when apatosaurus is supposed to be skinnier compared to brontosaurus, if you compare the current model for the apatosaurus in the game and you compare it to the one that you see in this picture you'll see that there's a huge difference between the two and I really like the apatosaurus in Jurassic World the movies and I don't really use the apatosaurus in the game because I'm not a big fan of it which is why apatosaurus has been replaced by diplodocus in my favorite sauropods in the game.

Still want the 1997 pteranodon.

Well the edmontosaurus in the game that has a crest is probably the most scientifically accurate because recent studies show that this species from the hell Creek formation did have a Crest similar to the one what that we have in the game but I do agree that it's too small to be scientifically accurate because I seem to recall that edmontosaurus from the hell Creek formation was about 40 feet and this dinosaur looks about the same size as the other hadrosaurs in the game, I mean edmontosaurus is supposed to be as big as T-Rex when it comes to size.
If any dinosaur is to lose its Crest it has to be the deinonychus.

Ah, you specifically meant the Male Nasutoceratops! I can agree with that, although again, it would require a remodel to be truly accurate. I really think the existing skins in the game that partially resemble toys are purely coincidental, as they aren't nearly as spot on to said toys as say, the Return to Jurassic Park skins are to their movie counterparts. As you said, there are some that are similar already though, and I still agree seeing toy-based skins would be awesome! As far as Edmontosaurus goes, I was implying removing the crest and actually slightly shrinking the dinosaur in order for it to more closely resemble Edmontosaurus annectens as an alternate skin/model, as like you said, the in-game Edmontosaurus is already a pretty accurate version (aside from the size debacle) of Edmontosaurus regalis.

The male Nasuto skin is not completely different at all. It's a little darker grey, and have a bit more red around the head and back. Calling it completely different is just weird. It's so minor it wouldn't make a difference at all. You wouldn't spot it unless you're right beside it.

Well it isn't just about the skin but it's also about the model of the dinosaur I mean so far Frontier only use the Female Nasutoceratops as the base skin for the species but they didn't use the male skin as an alternate base skin, I mean the mail nasutoceratops has longer horns the skull itself is much longer and it's not as thick as the female. But the model itself is different also compared to the female as you see between the two. I mean they changed the model for Triceratops for return to Jurassic Park and it's Considered a Cosmetic Skin.

The species in the game is a dead ringer for Edmontosaurus Regalis. Even the crest. Edmontosaurus Regalis is the earlier and proposedly slightly smaller species that had solid evidence for a comb on its head. A lot of the more recent research I've found suggests Annectens as the larger and later species that was found in Hell Creek and was a contemporary to Tyrannosaurus, proposing that well known display specimens may have been subadults. The Annectens skull is also longer and less broad than Regalis with no evidence for a crest at the moment. Honestly the Edmontosaurus Regalis in the game could still be sized up a bit as it was still pretty massive, but it would be great to see Annectens (maybe using its old nomenclature Anatosaurus or even better Anatotitan to avoid confusion) represented in the game at the sizes proposed by specimens MOR 1609 and 1142. Imagine it. A nearly 50 ft. long hadrosaur! Herds of them!

The Trike is still a female. Not a male. It’s just a “throwback” version. The green Rex is not the male version either. Just a cosmetic for the female. I would like to have both males and females, but that would be a lot of work, to design 62 male dinosaurs.
