Moving home-base because of replacement traffic controller voice?

Am I the only sad git that is thinking of moving their home-base because of the horrible accent of that station's new traffic control? [wacko]

I miss the delightful female voice that has now been replaced by some grating 'Murican guy.

I suppose I can be grateful that is isn't that simply awful attempt at a female Texas drawl.

..mind you those star ports do look a bit chilly - the wind whistling around one's 'Trossachs' - I'd probably be a miserable git too!

Try Procyon, Davey station. She's has a lovely Lancashire accent. As Yorkie I demand equal voice over rights!

Hehe, gotta say we lost our lovely ATC lady with V2.2 at our Home Station.

She's still to be heard at another nearby place - but she was the only ATC voice I actually slowed down for (arguably, Alliance ATC also sounded quite nice)

Oh well, can't change that.
But if I had the option to "hire ATC crew", I'd sure know which one I'd instantly hire again

I am having trouble finding a LYR high-tech without an annoying 'murican drawl (and I mean really grating). Anybody know of one that isn't too far from the arrival star?



(P.S. I don't dislike Americans or their accents (well mainly) but these ones (voices) I have come across in E D post 2.2 are really awfully grating.)
