i think it was said, that a large multicannon would look weird,
so maybe we will get something, but not as a gatling-looking weapon.

but before they add another multicannon, i would hope for the other missile rack size...

Just wanted to say I like this concept.

A light cannon, something between normal cannons and multi-cannons. Perhaps a kinetic gun that feels a little like the Flak 38 (I think), that I remember having such an impact in Saving Private Ryan (as in sounds and fire rate, rather than the horrific results).

No promises or ETA, but I think there's room for a weapon like this.

As a youth we used to holiday on the East cost of England at Skegness, there was an offshore shooting range used by A10's stationed locally in Lincolshire.
We used to see Warthogs flying over all day and would listen intently for the BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRooooof sounds of them using the Vulcan.
Even now hearing it takes me back.

That 4200 rounds per minute (70 per second) would be liberation, need much bigger ammo packs then

I read somewhere the dev's are hopeing to add an Auto-Cannon that fire's slower than a Multi-Cannon but faster than a Cannon. Think M2 .50 cal fire rate I guess from the sound of it.

Correct. Stations and capital ships already have something similar, though I think for them it's called a gauss cannon.
