Multi-Colored Trains and Cars

I couldn't find where this has been brought up, but this is one of those small details I really missed in RCT3. The first two RCT games allowed you to paint trains and individual cars different colors for all tracked rides. It really adds a lot visually to a ride to be able to have two trains be completely different colors. It's most useful for rides like bumper cars, go karts, trains, and monorails, but I've always loved having that option for coasters as well.

I would be willing to bet this will be a feature in the final game, but since it was absent in RCT3 I wanted to be sure to at least bring it up.

Im sure this feature was confirmed somewhere but it might have been confirmed at "that other game". [mouth shut]

Not sure if it was confirmed for PC.

If it is in the game I believe your referring to, hopefully that's good indication that it will be in PC. A lot of people liked the coasters loading stations in that-game-that-shall-not-be-named and Frontier added that for alpha 2. I really can't see it not making the game, but then again I remember thinking that it was going to be added in an RCT3 expansion back in the day. [cry]

Again its such a small thing and I know Frontier has a lot on their plate, but I would be tickled to death to have the ability to individually recolor each one of those Magic Katz cars. [big grin]

The Planet Coaster YouTube has a recent hour+ long video where they briefly mention this while changing colors on a coaster. It's a quick 3-second comment so I'm not going to go hunting for it. Bottom line is that the feature you're asking for is confirmed as something they want to implement. You'll be able to make trains with different colored cars much like the cars on the Diamond Heights steel coasters.

I'll take your word for it. It was probably on the fast track live stream, I do remember at some point them talking about re-coloring rides but I can't remember specifically what was said.

Same here ... i know they talked about recoloring rides but can't remember how and what.
All i know is they didn't mention recolorable wall's unfortunatly. As making the "colored wall" recolorable would expand so much possibilities!
