Multi pilot saves

To be honest all the time you can buy another copy of the game and create a new character you are effectively creating a second character slot. The only advantage to this current method is that FD will get double the money from that user. This method would still allow me to explore with one character and stay in the bubble with the other. So I don't get the argument against multiple slots at all as FD currently don't stop multiple account ownership. So my vote is Multiple character slots as the game mechanics already allows you to play more than one CMDR.

That point has already been raised... I think the comeback was the additional cost was a deterent against people doing "nasty things"... ie: Most people won't buy a second copy, hence less people will be a position to do "nasty things."

Why we cannot have it this way.
You buy game ( 1 pilot ) , but you can buy up 2 additional pilot slots 10$ each.
Only 1 can be logged at the same time.

yes +1, you are right
good solution and i'm sure there is others. There should be no reason to get worried to share my gaming experience in oculus with my family.
I belive I have to buy the game again for the guest, oh, but wait..., I'll have to buy horizon too??
There is just no reason for this!

I think if they do some think like this it should be the same cost of the current game.

Now a idea. If they add multiple accounts. Set it up so each account has a restraining order from each account. So one account can not be near the other account by 100 ly from each other. When the other account is active they can see a Blue glow from the spot the other Account is currently at.

That sounds like a nightmarish idea that doesn't at all address the issue of consequence.

FD cannot control people who buy a second copy of the game just to mitigate consequence.

FD can control people using multiple saves just to avoid consequence.

Solution: No multiple saves. Unless you're shadowbanned, at which point there's no reason to care.

Can someone please tell me, I have bought two copies of the game on my frontier account, I intend to buy another, so the kids and I can play together on our respective machines.

What is the correct way to I set this up?

Thanks in advance

Try gifting it to accounts made for your children?

I running two accounts with no problems. Only thing I have to do on the First time I added the account. You enter the password. But Now all I have to do is type in the other account Email and PW and the game starts up.
