Multiple Collector Limpet Controllers

Im sure its somewhere in this forum, but I cant find a clear answer (to me at least). If I have two collector limpet controllers on board, does each controller have to have its own cargo bay, or can both collectors pull from the same bay. I have both controllers bound to primary fire group B, but it seems only one is sending out collector limpets (I only have one cargo bay 64T).. Am I doing someting wrong

Controllers pull from the same cargo. There is no concept of multiple cargo bays in the game.

Which two controllers do you have and how many (maximum)collector limpets can you have active at any give time?

(Try just kicking out collector limpets until it doesn't kick any more out...then count them)

That's the normal behavior - keep pressing the fire button and the second controller will send its limpet out too

Thanks..Ill double check tonight. It seems like I fire off one controller and it shows 0/32, then the i fire again and check the inventory and there is still only 1 limpet missing. But now that I know it should be firing 2 limpets off each time (I am assuming this is what should happen), Ill look for it.

You need to map both controllers to a firegroup

Assuming you have them both on the same fire button, just hold it down until they are all launched. Each one takes a sec or two to clear the cargo hatch before the next can be launched.
