Multiple Franchises / additional settings

I absolutely enjoy this game, especially franchise mode. I always love a challenge & I also enjoy trading animals with the community. Since I have played this game ALOT i know how to run a successfull zoo and got all research done and countless CC in the bank. But one thing bothers me:
When I wanna start a fresh new zoo, all my recent progress will be taken with me. And while that might be great for people who dont wanna grind, I find myself wishing for the early game struggle. The problem solving is just too good, when you have many limits. Really forces you to be creative which i LOVE.

Please, please PLEASE give us (crazy) people the option to either have multiple franchises or a couple settings so we can adjust what progress we want to take with us to a new zoo.
I urge for the ability to open a new zoo in franchise mode and start with nothing. <3

I want this because my family all play Planet Zoo and obviously I'm not going to buy individual copies of the game + dlcs for everyone, but there have been arguments over one person grinding for cc, and them domeone else spending them all on overpriced ostriches. It would be nice if we could have separate franchises to deal with this issue.

I think this unfortunately wont change. It was like you suggest at the release, then alot of people complained about basically the opposite of you - that they DONT want to start everything over, so they changed it to the current state...

I am with you regarding this, I too like to start completely over, unfortunately looks like we are minority. I play challenge mode and that is one of the reasons for it - everytime I satrt a new map, I start with a blank shield so to say and got to research everything.

That's honestly a very good point. It would really be a needed feature in situations like this.

I really hope they'll reconsider. Cause if you play a lot of franchise and have successfull zoos this gamemode basically turns into sandbox

Isn't Challenge mode pretty much what you are looking for? Only thing is you won't be able to trade with other people. But you do start each zoo wittout any research done and a completely random set of animals available to start your zoo with. If anything, I think it's even more challenging (yes, I know, shocker since it is called challenge mode) than Franchise mode is even when you start a completely new Franchise.

I have tried this mode and I wasnt happy about the selection of animals. I had build a nice habitat for flamingoes, then bought a sweet pink feathery boy and waited roughly 3 hours for a second flamingo to appear on the market, but that never happened. I was so annoyed I never went back to that zoo again. I know, I shouldve just checked before what animals are available, but thats why i love franchise so much. The market is a lot of fun.
Trading with others and sometimes you buy a new animal and its the granddaughter of an animal you used to have. Or I see people on reddit talking about animals they want but cant afford, so you get together and you can put an animal on the market for a reduced price, so another person can enjoy them too. LOVE IT
