Must needed changes to improve the Elite experience. Please share your opinion and ideas inside.

Lestat, you're just being presumptuous and quite rude now. Suggesting improvements to the game doesn't indicate I cannot appreciate how to play the game well. I'd rather avoid those moments where friends of allies drop into a battle and stray fire me, thus becoming hostile to me and vice versa?

Many factors involved, for example someone in a stealth DBS, suddenly boosting into your line of fire. Apparently a VERY HECTIC combat scenario in Elite is very much like driving a car. Because cars are firing at one another and boosting and chaffing and lagging and so on...

You're entitled your opinion, but your feedback challenges the basic fact that to allow for the player to avoid these little nuisances through the option to tag known allies and friendlies would improve the gameplay experience in Elite. Instead of one good reason, you just resort to questioning other players skills...

If red... shoot you say. Exactly my point - see above. It's not good and needs changed. The amount of reaction killing in this game because you can't tell genuine friend or foe is ridiculous. Especially at CG res zones.

What you presume to as being rude is more common sense. Nothing more nothing less. Most players scan their friends. So when they target they see a Cmrd Name. So even if they are red you know they are your friend.

Thing is this is not Star Trek when ships can be invisible. In Elite Dangerous it still visible to the user. Maybe not by radar but visual to the user. Maybe your color off and you having a hard time seeing objects. This is where Sound helps a lot. If a ship near by Maybe it in front of you.

Kinda reminds me of a Motorcycle cop or cop driving in your blind spot while your driving 15 miles above the speed limit. You assume nothing there and you keep on speeding. Then complain while you get a speeding ticket. You have to expect the unexpected. You have to keep looking at what around you so you don't get that ticket.

What will improves game play is Practice. A idea if your having issue of hitting friendly ship is use a smaller ship. Less % of damage mean less likely you will be wanted. Because Larger ships can cause 15% damage in one shot while a smaller ship could cause 2 to 5% damage and you might get a warning and not a wanted.

Well if I can tell it enemy by user Name I tend not to have a issue. You still have to scan them. Before shooting at them.

Thing is Friendly Fire already been dumb down. It use to give a wanted if one of your bullet hit a ship. At the time I never had a problem but I never sprayed and prayed.

Oh joy, a new monkey poo flinging contest at the zoo. Honestly gents, put a damned tent around this circus.
