My Animal Dream List

I want a lot of animals to be in the game eventually so here's hoping for bigger packs in the future! I know my list is unrealistic but I just want this game to have a really huge variety of creatures as unrealistic as that seems right now. This is my personal list so realize this is just my opinion. If I could magically make Planet Zoo everything I wanted it would have these animals lol.

Animals possible with current mechanics:
Matschie’s Tree Kangaroo
Secretary Bird
African Spurred Tortoise
Green Sea Turtle
American Black Bear
Olive Baboon
Gerenuk
Iberian Lynx
Wolverine
Ratel
Musk Ox
Takin
Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey
Sea Otter
Spectacled Bear
Sloth Bear
Onager
Sumatran Rhino (I want it to be really hard to get them in Franchise, maybe would be a cool gameplay mechanic)
Saiga
Bush Dog
Ethiopian Wolf (Again would be cool to highlight)
Howler Monkey
Squirrel Monkey
Golden Lion Tamarin
Coqural’s Sifaka
Alligator Snapping Turtle
Any Wallaroo
Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby
Nile Crocodile
Gelada
Rockhopper Penguin
Walrus
Japanese Serow
Pere David's Deer
Markhor
Blackbuck
Gaur
Leopard Seal
Serval
Ocelot
Fishing Cat
Marine Iguana
Siberian Musk Deer
Island Fox
Rock Hyrax
Greater Rhea

(Might edit if I remember anything lol, or check off animals that made it.)

If it was 100% up to me I'd want full Marine and Aviary expansions in the future with 20+ animals each haha.

I know that this list is huge and again not realistic but it's for fun! What's your dream list?

These are all great lists. Me I'll be glad to get my top 30 non exhibit/non aviary animals, my top 5 exhibit ones and my top 15 birds. I know that's still a lot, and I have a larger wishlist than that, but if all of them made it in I would have zero complaints.

If we could just get my top 10 regular habitat animals, my #1 exhibit animal and one full 8 pack of birds I'd also be really happy, though I'd be disappointed for what didn't make it in.

What about the rest of all the bear species (if sloth bear will be accepted) and mountain lion.

We already have more than half of the bear species. Thanks to the game I have read a bit about the systematics of bears and there are in fact 8 species which are distinguished and we already have 5 of them:
Polar bear, sun bear, Panda. The moon bear (formosan black bear) and brown bear (Grizzly bear and Himalayan brown bear) are in the game as specified sub species.
So I would be fine if we get the other 3 bear species which are the sloth bear, spectacled bear and the American black bear. Even if these species would not be on top of my priority list I could live with it.

Yea exactly. If slots weren’t as big as an issue I’d say just finish them all lol. I really love bears and I wouldn’t mind if we got them all

If only there was a wishlist of small exhibit animals for people to know how much exhibit animals they wish to see in the game?
If anyone like to see that kind of list, here's mine and I wasn't sure whether these could last and/or breed in captivity in real-life or not.
  1. any mantis species
  2. tiny mice and rats (if anyone like)
  3. naked mole rats (their exhibit will be like underground)
  4. stag beetles
  5. rhino beetles
  6. hercules beetles
  7. geckos
  8. cobras
Planet Zoo didn't have those (yet).

Animals possible with current mechanics:
...
Any Gibbon
Gibbons would require brachiation, which is a mechanic not currently supported in Planet Zoo. Currently, the only climbing animations supported are walking on top of a climbing piece or an idle animation for 1 animal (binturong with its prehensile tail).

Gibbons would not "require" brachiation, it would only make them more complete and accurate. They could still function perfectly well within the current game parameters, we'd just be missing a key piece of the action.
