My first Earth-like (and yours)

ELW-1.1.jpg

Not taken when I first found it, or showing the other one (I went back to map the system after Beyond came out, and this one's half of a binary pair.) Sadly, all the best pictures were on my old computer, but admit I did get a bit of nostalgia seeing them again, especially since it's been a while since I was exploring just below the bubble in a Cobra III I couldn't really afford. Originally found sometime around early 2015, I think. Apologies for tagging the whole lot if anyone goes to look - I tended to get a little carried away back then.
System is SYNUEFE TV-C D13-17

Discovered this nice little system with a beautifull ELW when passing through during some 'loose' exploration with my Lakon Type6 'Sivudlerk' on Saturday June 3rd 3303.

I found my first ELW on my first trip out. Drunken me had the idea to fly a "stock" Cobra MkIII up to Rohini. with only 9-10ly jumps, I got quite much to see...
I actually only have the sys map of that planet (with my name in it), but here it is, Chraufao VX-L d7-20 5, situated in a nice binary with a terraformable HMC in a solo F star system. It is about 4klys out...
Found in February 3305/2019:

A photo of the planet itself will follow when I'm around there again. Should be worth a swing-by before hitting the Highway back up to Colonia...

My first Earthlike world was discovered on October 29, 2015. I was out on my first long-distance (well, at the time it was fairly long distance for me) trip in my trusty Cobra Mk III. Went out in the direction of the Veil Nebula West. Once out there I sort of went on a winding journey to lots of different star types. I didn't understand mass codes back then, nor could you filter your route, so I just manually selected G, F, and K type stars to see what I could find. Eventually I stumbled on SIFI LD-J d9-8, where I saw my first ELW. It had a nice double star. I later went back and scanned other stars in the vicinity. I also scanned it for EDSM, and at that time I thought I scanned everything but according to EDSM not all the bodies are scanned. Of course my return visit was before the FSS. I still sometimes go by there on my way to Morgan's Rock and on to Colonia, but I haven't been back there in years at this point.
