Awww. Thanks! I really want to sleep. My team is implementing a change during the server maintenance window. I come over here for comic relief.

Same, its pretty fun over here, its like 2 AM though and Im wide awake.

Uh... right, topics um....Guardian Sentinels are Griefers... yeah! I swear they are just there to push me off a cliff

I set aside this past Saturday to tackle the Guardian structure puzzle for FSD Booster. There are lots of youtube walkthrough vids so I won't bore you with those details, just my high level observations (and maybe some boring details):
1. If anyone says 1-2 hours tops to complete this puzzle, they've done these before. For me, being the first time setting foot in ruins like this it was more like 3-4 hours.
2. I arrived at this site when it was pitch black. Not good.

I have only done it once, well not even that really, but that's all I wanted to do for the Guardian FSD booster.

I spent the better part of two sessions there gathering mats and trying to orient myself with the site to get the blueprint, by the time I had gathered everything I needed I was still having trouble orienting myself, it was as confusing as ever, the above camera view may have helped I think but it was darkish and misty, very atmospheric I must say.

Then along came this friendly CMDR and asked if I was having trouble, when I said yes he said follow me, put me at the key point, ran around in about 20 seconds and shot all the pylons, handed me a relic so I could activate the device and let me scan for the blueprint and I got the one I wanted first time. So if he is reading this I can only say a great big thank you to CMDR Alpha Rift for assisting me when I was so lost. [up]

I unlocked all Guardian blueprints last weekend and it was one of the most frustrating gameplay episodes of my life.

My SRV getting stuck on guardian architecture constantly.
SRV being flipped over and upside down by sentinels (while also trying to unhook myself from guardian architecture).
Running out of SRV bullets while fighting off several guardian sentinels while also being stuck on guardian architecture and or being flipping about like a rag doll from sentinel blasts.
Getting skewered on Guardian pylons completely unable to free myself while being attacked by sentinels and running out of SRV bullets.

I've been thinking about doing this at some point as I've decided to actually engineer and outfit my ships properly. Though it's mostly because the Corvette I am getting sorted is desperate for the Guardian FSD booster. It's quite a number of jumps to get places when your max jump range is only 19ly and an extra 10ly will make quite the difference.

I think due to what people have said I'm going to take my Annie fitted with a couple PD and a SLF to the sites as it hadn't occured to me to use one to blast all the panels with lasers rather than an SRV turret.
Btw can you launch a SLF while landed?

No you cannot launch the SLF while landed, or land while your SLF is launched
