My Grade 5 Type-10D

Below is my now Grade 5 Type-10D (theres a lot of room for improvement by the way)

Even with the engineering it moves very slowly and against a fast moving target that's no good. The charge enhanced PD seems to help a lot i never ran out of Juice for the weapons layout (needs to change). On the plus side the hull went a lot further as did the shields (yes i know but i had the prismatic in stock and i figured it needed to be hard hitting to last the one fight)

I did a lot more damage in a Gunship with smaller weapons

Any Advice or ideas???

A question for you. Did you see a huge difference in survivability going with military (g5 heavy duty)? I tried lightweight with heavy duty to keep manoeuvrability up but I just don’t have the endurance to win the fight. Tactics are only getting me so far. My last tweak is the hull and I’m hoping that does it before I go back to the FAS.

No problem with your loadout, i use the same. Problem is the Type-10. Hardpoint convergence is the worst i have ever seen, so fixed wont work well. I tried 2 missiles and 2 multis on eighter side and was able to kill a cyclops, but it took me over 20 minutes... horrible.
Turrets dont do good damage, but i fitted them and tried it with a multicrew gunner, i thought maybe the T10 is designed for use with multicrew. He made every hit count and we exerted the first heart in record time. Then came one of the biggest multicrew flaws, he can´t target subtargets, to he really can´t hit the heart very good. Cyclops eventually went into berserk mode and i left with 22% hull and a 100% cyclops was laughing at the alliances effort to construct a ship able to counter them. Seriously FD, this thing needs to go back to drydock and the hardpoints need to be redesigned, no one will use that ship for the role you want it to have.
Back to the almighty but boring anaconda for me :(

It lasted a lot lot longer i found but the lack of maneuverability meant i had a hard time keeping the Thargoid in either my field of view or range so i was doiing plenty of damage but couldn't do it ofter enough before it re-gens... im sure a better FA Off pilot would make more use of her but i need practice before i'm there.

I think i will be swapping two of the cannons for missiles..

also i dont know what to do with the small HP's, if regular weapons do no damage i wasn't sure what the point was of adding conventional weapons
 
oh by the way i was operating out of asterope so i plan to ditch the fuel scoop for an unmodded 5D Hull Reinforcement package (i might shoot back to the bubble in my DBX and mod one to ship down here) so those numbers are going up

Obsidian Ant has a video posted with his build. Using a pair of beams on the class 1 to help bring down thargoid shields when needed.

The same here: same loadout, same convergence problems (turrets are bad solution, fixed doesn't work at all). Not the anti-xeno ship I was waiting for.
