As in the whole charging process or just a few seconds before exiting the scoop range?
Well - when you're traveling somewhere and the destination is on the far side of the star, so you are simultaneously waiting for FSD cooldown, scooping, and getting the destination reticle above the surface of the star you're scooping. I barely look at the temperature now.

I hope my wingmate doesn't read this thread. He got his Krait up to 438% heat last night, and was pretty upset about it.
He re-engineered everything and now overheats to a mild 130% or so.
