Its not the AWS servers, its your ISP's connection to them.
The only thing folks should change on their modems is the password.
AWS runs as a ring, so traffic is dynamic to different network elements. Latency is not the problem.
No one should need to turn off uPnP or port forward.
For me,
The crash from galaxy map ctd seems to be gone. That's the only major glitch I saw.
I am having zilch problems except the lack of time to play.
That, and those strange bronie Cmdrs boozing it up all day long.
I do because I'm behind a firewall not a router. A proper security device and it won't let anything through unless told too. So I'm my case its a must.
I know ed will reroute traffic through other players machines, but I get rubber banding then. Port forwarding sorts mine out.
