If you haven't already, get that puppy 'A'-rated. Stock Pythons are a bit pants, but 'A'-rated (and then later Engineered) Pythons are a thing of wonder.

The station I'm using most normally buys them for 1.4 mill, gone down today annoyingly though :/.

Ha, nice. I found about 60 opals and sold them for that price in an hour or so this morning before the real world got in the way and I had to actually "do something"... Hopefully I'll find 100 next time!

Get some hatch breakers and find you a good anarchy system that deals in agriculture. Maybe you'll find a T9 with 250 or so Low Temp Diamonds.

I do all my core mining in a mostly combat-fitted Cutter these days, mainly to point and laugh at would-be NPC pirates. Just stripped out the SCBs, HRPs, and MRPs, and the two outboard medium hardpoints. Nice and cozy behind 3k mj of shielding and thermal-resistant RSC, and 3 PDTs.

I may have to try it in a Python. Probably a bit faster, at least.
