The Sagittarius Eye newsgroup that produced the video is an independent news agency that has nothing to do with me.
In fact, because they (incorrectly) labeled me as a "terrorist" (when I'm really a noble galactic conqueror), I would agree with you at least in part that they are spreading fake news.
When I fully come into power, I will have all news releases properly vetted so that the media bias against me is eliminated entirely.

In order to assess the success of this campaign, I ordered my analysts to conduct a tally of all publicly documented instances of the new Z0 salute appearing in real-world use over the past four months.
My analysts reviewed the following sources:
- Frontier Forums
- ED subreddits
- Various ED discord channels
They reported finding a total of 871 verifiable occurrences of the new salute, appearing either in the "Z0" or "ZO" form.
Although it is clear that adoption of the Z0 salute has gained some initial momentum, I am still furious over these meager numbers -- this is absolutely unacceptable. We still have a *long* way to go before meeting even our phase one goal of 10,000 Z0s.
By my authority as galactic Overlord, I demand that, from this point forward, *all* Pilots Federation commanders begin saluting using the Z0 salute, and that salute only. All other salutes are strictly forbidden.

At this point, the argument is over. The Z0 salute has already achieved nearly one thousand documented instances of adoption already. And that is without even counting the times it was no doubt exchanged between thousands of commanders in the deep of space. This new method of saluting is definitely here to stay.
The point of reviving this thread was to make evident, once and for all, just how wrong the Z0 naysayers of four months ago actually were.

I have all the best PvP groups in the galaxy as my supporters. And since the only *real* form of power one can have in this galaxy is power obtained through the direct use of aggressive force, that makes me the most powerful commander in the entire galaxy. Not to mention, I have received more nominations to become the new leader of the entire Pilots Federation than any other commander in galactic history, because only I was able to make Princess Aisling Duval herself into my slave. Then there’s those ancient recordings from the Guardians indicating that *I* am The One that will lead humanity into lasting peace. And that’s saying nothing of the fact that commanders have widely adopted a new form of salute that is basically just an abbreviation of my glorious name. Hearing commanders cry out “Zarek Null is my Overlord” is a routine occurrence for me. I am known to many to be the Overlord of the Galaxy, for good reason.
You misunderstand. Null is not a descriptor of my socio-political status, it is a veiled reference to nihilism.

This Zarek Null person reminds me of Calvin of the comic strip "Calvin and Hobbes." Maybe Zarek lost his stuffed tiger or something. Zarek's mom must be a saint. If anything, SHE should be commanding the Pilot's Federation.
