My Suggestions and What I Want to See Added to PC2

I really hope to see a Water Coaster, larger bowl slides, Tornado Slides and other types of Boomerang slides in the future.

I would like to see a slide option where it doesn't end in a pool.

I would like to see the wave pools gradually get deeper the further you go in and have it where you walk into the wave pool like you would into a ocean from the beach like in real life.

. I would like to see tubes are in a designated area to be picked up or dropped off for water slides instead of apearing at the beginning and then disappearing at the end of the slide in the pool. Guests will pick up a tube and walk it up to the slide and when there done leave at the designated tube area or slides having a lift for tube's that bring it back up to the top.

I would like the option of different amounts of people going down a slide at a time depending on the types of tubes on certain slides that can allow it. Certain slides can allow more than just one type a tube. "Exp: 1 seater, 2 Seater, 4 Seater, 6 Seater Tubes." Depending on the slide type.

I also really want to see more realistic water slides meaning that I want to see the water coming into the slides at certain parts where there are supposed to be water coming out. I hope the pics give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

I rather see Life Guards operating water slides instead of the standard ride operators. I feel this will be a lot more realistic.

I really want to see weather and potentially seasons affecting Coaster, Rides, Water Slides. Guests won't be able to go into pools or slides when there is a thunder/lightning storm happening. Also, if it's cold people won't want to go to waterparks and if it's hot they will want to go to water parks or use water rides in theme parks. Coasters and rides shut down during major storms like thunderstorms as'well.

Finally!!! I want to be able to have the option of people not being able to swim in certain pools of my choosing. Example: I just want it for the water slides and people getting out of that pool. I don't want people swimming around by the slides that being dangerous.

In the video earlier one of the pools looked to have parts that were shallower than others, including a section that seemed to allow peeps to walk out onto the path. This is giving me hope of being able to create true wave pools that allow to walk straight in and gradually get deeper.

So I've come across where the devs have created a wave pool with the walkout/in end that gradually gets deeper. Hyped!! :D

Good catch I caught that later on too as I rewatched the video! ;)

I really noticed this too and on the right hand side at the edge of the pool is a strange triangular rise in pool depth. Makes me think the bottom of all pools with be shaped by the terrain beneath them or maybe, even better, editable terrain and pool depth after the pool is placed.

If i decide to build a indoor Waterpark, the Game should be clever enough to know that Weather should not play a role in the Guests desicion to go into the Water or not...
Since the shade will matter for guest happiness it would be my guess for sure, whatever the benefits of shade in the new game for the park guests, that has to take priority over weather when the guest is in a building. Surely?
 
Was recently reminded of this over in Steam's PC1 forum, and it pretty much folds into several people's “Better Staff Handling!” recs, but: I really want the ability to tell a staff member to go on break right then.

In PC1 (I don't play PZoo) if I want to effectively stagger the breaktimes for a workgroup of vendors in a group of three new shops, I'll put down the first (usually drinks), wait for the Vendor's energy to drop by about 25%, put down the next shop (probably food), wait for another 25% energy drop in the Vendors, put down the swag shop, wait for another 25% energy drop in the Vendors, then hire a fourth Vendor and assign it to the workgroup. By this time the first Vendor's both trainable and just dropping out of the green, but if I buy training that will force a break regardless, and then the new-hired Vendor will take the shop.

If this trick's not feasible for whatever reason, rostered Vendors with a couple rounds of training will eventually stagger their breaks on their own. Eventually. But I shouldn't have to wait for that. 😠
 
Staff Shifts would do the trick. Assign Staff to certain Shifts, and have basically some other Staff that can fill Gaps if need be.

Would be welcome, but insufficient. Right now in PC1 you can click on a Staffroom and kick out anybody in it, but you can't (I play on Windows, if this is doable in console I wouldn't know) click on a shop and tell the Vendor to get out of it. I want something that allows me to click on a Vendor (or any staff) and tell them “go on break now”. Doesn't have to be a button -- the ability to grab a Vendor who's behind the counter, drag 'em over to the staffroom, and drop? That'd do.
 
I feel after all these videos, trailer, and info dump I can safely say we got pretty much everything that is on my list fullfilled. The only real one I'm noticing that we don't have is the Water Coaster Slide ingame or I might have missed it. Also, still would love to see life guards instead of ride operators on top of slides. We still don't know if weather will affect the rides and people wanting to ride them.

I noticed for the medium bowl slide ingame, it doesn't have the option for a run end. I hope this is changed before the game is launched.
I would also love to see a smaller taco shaped boomerang slide make into PC2 if not in the base game at least in a dlc. The one we currently have ingame is really cool, but is huge!!!

If you watch Digital Dan's most recent video Aqua Blast Water Coasters are confirmed!
 
After seeing the game, I can't address enough that they would combine the Inner Tube Waterslide and the Double Inner Tube Waterlide as one waterslide. If you go to waterparks in real life you have the option to ride alone on a Inner tube or go down with a friend on a Double Inner Tube. It's not game breaking if you don't do it and don't know how hard it would be to code that into the game, but would be nice just to have the one waterslide that allows both depending if the guest is alone or has a friend to be able to use the Double Inner Tube.

As you can see in this pic the slides uses both single and double except for the Aqua Blaster Watercoaster Slide.

I keep banging on about Skateparks DLC using empty pools and modular ramp-park building. I'll probs keep doing that. But had a new idea.

The new sequencer is similar to audio and video production software. Is it possible to add functions which allow remixing of any given Planet Coaster 2 sound files? So we might receive several standard music tracks which are themed. If the individual parts and samples tracks can also be selected and used by players, similar sequencing to that already shown hopefully won't be a large amount of work(?). Instant remixing suite.

So now I'm for Skateparks DLC and Production Studio DLC
