My War cutter

Sounds like what you’re describing is an armoured transport, not a war cutter. It buys you the time you need to run so you can get cargo from A to B. So a blockade runner, perhaps? Totally valid role, just not a combat ship and certainly not a “War Cutter”.

But this entire post has been about how 'tanky' your Cutter is and how nothing can take it's shields down, so how could you ever be outmatched?

Well, what you describe is a transport ship that can fight more than a dedicated warship, that’s all. This means you will be running a lot when faced with any proper pvp resistance. You’d be running from my fdl all on its lonesome, or my Conda because those are dedicated warships while yours is a transport boat that can fight. This isn’t an insult, just a more accurate role description. Perhaps you meant PVE farmer than can run?
Edit:
To put it another way, if we were both at a Haz Res or CZ and I wanted the space to myself, I could push you out of the Res while there wouldn’t be much you could do to stop my being there.

Thats literally already happening,now for everyone else saying ive only got 3200 shield health....guys....i have 8k, they literally need to burn through 8K shields/health. You know how in a moba you got a resistance tank and a health tank? This is my health tank, not my resistance tank.

If this is true *idk if it is someone correct me if im wrong* when i bump my shields up to max that shoots it up to 16k. So thats a LOT OF SHIELD for anything to burn through, and this actually counters plasmas. Plasmas have absolute damage, meaning they ignore resistances. How do you beat something like that? Stack shield points. Why else do you think that when you ram a planet with a resistance tanked out ship that it drops your shields a lot, but when you ram it with a shield health tank ship that it barely drops it going full speed?


Also what is with all of you saying the boost speed is low? Like this is my dirty drives almost maxed out at 5.

I'm sorry but Conda vs Cutter, Cutter wins. It just turns into a face tanking match with how both ships are slow to turn, and the Cutter can out tank the Conda, despite the Conda having more DPS, so Cutter wins.

Vs a Fdl or Corvette, I'll give it too you that they'll both out turn the Cutter and win, but the Cutter can run from the Corvette, and survive long enough to get away from an FDL, so you shouldn't be scared of them, but that's probably off topic from what you stated.

On topic, Conda dies to Cutter. Then again, that's why the Conda is also classed as a multipurpose ship.

No i never said i'll combat log, i said i'll do that when happens like getting stuck inside of another ship in the anaconda (yes thats been happening to me) and for some reason the game says im in danger. So i decide to end the task to get out without my ship being destroyed. When in combat i dont do that.

Best damned anti-Thargoid barge out there. Make sure to hit reverse and just remember their weapons largely ignore shields.
