Soooo, am I just missing something or is there no description of the AMAZING looking ship illustrated in newsletter #20....im really hoping that its going to appear in game..luv that design!

Most probably you are referring to Lacon Type 9 Heavy.

It's almost certainly a trader or heavy transport of some kind.

There are 3 lakon ships that have popped up in concept art. I think they are trade ships....
a recent peek of the week was the type 9 cockpit... Someone might post it up (I'm posting on my phone, a bit awkward for posting pics)

If you watch the video in the newsletter titled: "Elite: Dangerous Trading Demo" you might actually notice that there are 4 ship upgrades: Eagle (0:23), Cobra (0:25), Lacon (0:29) and Anaconda (0:32).

Edit: Actually, that'd be something a tad different. Huge cargo hold, heavily armored, no windows just internal scanners and auto-docking etc.

Yup. It was confirmed in the Backers forum.

Windows are under the nose, in that cage-like thing. This is a big ship, 400-odd ton capacity cargo hauler.

in the inner picture it's are not clearly visible all the chairs.. but i suspect that there are 3 of them.
One (the pilot) + 2 beside of him.
And ... maybe i wrong but.. it seems there is also an under floor beneath the bridge.. i can't imagine what it should be in there.. may be other instrumentations.. idk

In fact, that ship + the walking expansion + oculus rift + escaped xenomorph = nervous breakdown
