Newcomer / Intro Mystery spot

I am at Dav's Hope (Hyades Sector DR-V C2-23) and I have found a mystery locatyion. Inside my SRV there is a contact called Search Zone: Shelter. Here is a pic,

I locked the target and it appears here in the sky in the south

When I get into my ship that contact disappears and it does not appeared at all. I traveled the distance shown and scanned all landable bodies at that distance and nothing appeared. Is this just a glitch?

Have you got a mission to scan a base? That's what those nav points usually are - and there is a 'feature' that they appear across the system if you point at them. If you don't have the mission then it's probably a bug.

Yes, it's probably a bug, that you're able to see it from the SRV.

But for the sake of fun, find out on which planet in the system the search zone is and fly there with your ship. The points of interest are only visible under 1000ls, so you should reacquire it in your ship once you're close enough the that planet.

I have not done a single mission in game yet. So must be a bug. I did fly over to that area. Nothing appeared on my Nav screen.

The fact that it shows as being over 22Kls away to me means it must be a bug.
