Astronomy / Space NASA Image Shows Blue Sand Dune On Mars

This enhanced infrared image of a dune on Mars was taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on Jan. 24, 2018. The dune's blue tint shows up in normal color images as well. It's made of finer material or has a different composition than the dunes around it.

It's weird but I must be particularly susceptible to the relief inversion optical illusion - I can hardly make any sense of that image at all.
