I have a dumb navigation question.
I'm plotting a course of about 1k LY using the 'quickest route' option, about 21 jumps. Halfway though the route however the lines turn dotted indicating that my tank is empty short of my destination by half.
If I switch route to 'economical' ( using scoopable stars filter) now have a route to my destination with no problem. Unfortunately the number of jumps has multiplied exponentially.
So I had an idea; use the 'quickest route' option but scooping every star along that route, always leaving with a full tank. At about the time I reach the dotted line/ halfway point on my 'fastest route' I now have a full tank of gas to get me the rest of the way, using the 'fastest route' Will this work ?
