Ships Need help and tips for my first Anaconda fully engineered build

You don't have any corrosive, imo that's way more important than any of the experimental effects you have on there.
A corrosive/hi-cap or OC MC in the other medium slot would work well.

That's a lot of MRPs since they have diminishing returns, and you can't engineer them like HRPs.
2 are sufficient generally.
You should put the thermal resistance on your smallest available HRP.

Agreed with Innocentius about the fuel scoop and SCB.
I suggest using the MRP slots to swap with a fuel scoop and Guardian FSD booster when travelling, since the MRPs aren't engineerable and are easy to purchase outright at many destinations.

No FSD interdictor?

Is it worth changing the 7C shield experimental to fast charge or lo-draw ? what's the best of the two ?

Also i'll be changing the fuel scoop for another SCB and eventually swap with a MRP when i need to travel and i'll be changing the MRP/HRP's as suggested ; i don't want to put a MC though because i don't really like using those and i typically run out of ammo very fast with them.

No FSD interdictor because i rarely use it , i prefer hunting in conflict zones or elsewhere , but i can also swap the smallest HRP for an interdictor at any time :)

With the new suggestion it gives this : https://s.orbis.zone/1gxs

But i will "try" the Hi-cap corrosive in a medium MC just to compare (because why not) , with an MC it gives this : https://s.orbis.zone/1gxt

Also if you guys want i can give you the recipe for material farming in 3.3

I put lo-draw on that build since it allows you to use power elsewhere and lets the shield rebuild on fewer pips.
It also won't recharge while taking fire anyhow, so the fast charge isn't as much of a benefit when you're a big, slow target.
Even the broken regen is only 1.6 MJ/s difference.

You can use the hi-cap in that case, but you really, really don't want to miss out on the corrosive buff the one MC gives to all of your weapons.

Good call on the corrosive, that gives all your weapons the benefit.

You can switch the thermal engineering to the smallest HRP if you're not going to use the interdictor at all.

I've been using the FSS to find HGEs.

ha , good point didn't think of that , i'll switch to lo-draw then.

I didn't know it could apply to all weapons , i'll use it instead of a cannon then , good idea. (also does it only work when you hit the hull and not the shield ?)

nah i'll keep the thermal to a 4D HRP because i'll probably put an Interdictor when i need it for some missions , so it makes more sense like that.

For my mats farming , i use the crashed anaconda at Koli Discii for raw mats , Jameson Cobra for data (insanely fast) and lastly i use the new FSS method , go to Federation systems for Core dynamis and proprietary composites (i max Core dynamics) and then i go to Empire systems for Imperial shielding and i max it as well , and i trade everything down at a material trader when needed ; i should also note that Empire owned systems are extremely fast because i only find Imperial shielding in the HGE's and nothing else.
I also haven't found anything in "deep space" seems like they changed this as well and that's a good thing.

All in all i love the 3.3 update for mats farming :D

Anyway , the build looks like this now : https://s.orbis.zone/1gza

You have an 8A sensor with a long range mod and no long range weapons, as the 8A has a decent stock range perhaps a lightweight mod on the 8A for a significant improvement in speed and jump range.

well , i don't know , 13.44km of range is comfy when you don't want to be ambushed , with a lightweight it would surely give a better jump range (from 21.62 to 26.24) but the sensor range gets lowered to 7.68km , i don't think the jump range is such an issue because i can always put a Guardian FSD boosters (it goes to 32.31 jump range with one + a long range 8A sensor) instead of MRP when i need to move. (also who goes to a CG with a fully engineered anaconda here ? genuinely curious because the first time i've been to Jameson memorial someone tried to ram me lol :D)

Sorry, I wasn't clear.
Having the single corrosive MC benefits all of the weapons, but you can't put corrosive on any weapon and it does not stack.

Good choices, I use the Bug Killer a lot since I can get raw and encoded at the same place.
Koli is slippery so I tend to find driving there a bit of a pain.
I don't even pay attention to where the HGEs are anymore.

Looks good, to follow along with what Ceekay said, LR D rated sensors are a nice middle ground to consider.

Find time to get the guardian fsd unlocked as one of those would benefit your ship greatly. ( its an easy unlock )

yeah after fully upgrading my anaconda , i'll go get it , also the 3 guardian fighter ships and any anti-thargoid weapons i can get.

Trust me, your Anaconda build is VERY slow, too.
That's not something to really split hairs over, in an Anaconda.
The FGS is known as a slow ship and mine is on the heavy side, yet it still boosts to over 400.

As they say, the proof is in the pudding.

how'd you manage to boost to 400 ?
Must be pretty nice for fixed weapons.
