Need help with a very easy mini-buid.How do I make a staircase/escalator from a lower ground level to bring visitors up to the level of my entrance?

Hello everyone.
Friends I'm bad at construction so I need a little advice for something very easy for you.
I made a floor below the ground level of the zoo so that visitors arrive as if they were coming from a subway.
I placed the rectangles where they arrive for that but then I don't know how to drill the entire floor properly.
By going up a staircase or an escalator but I don't know how to do all that.
I would also like to surround the staircase with a kind of glass tunnel.
What do I need to do from start to finish to get all this done?
I saw that when trying to go down, if I press "tunnel" in the aisle part it will make a huge hole so that's not how I should do it I guess^^

PS: Maybe I should look in the workshop because even if I don't want to do a metro station, maybe I could find how to do it there?

Working underground in this game is very difficult for me, so what I usually do is pretend that there's a metro station and I only build a small exit building which is supposed to house the stairs. I don't build the whole station. I place the arriving point of the visitors inside that little building. Something like this:

Not stupid at all, do you make a staircase down and put the TP rectangle where?
Did you put it in the workshop?

No, I don't build the staircase at all. I place the rectangle on the ground level hidden inside the little building. Once the visitors enter the building and I don't see them, I just pretend they are taking the stairs or elevators to go underground. I don't have any of these items in the workshop becuse they are very simple since I'm not a great builder.

I found a screenhot. You can see the little building on the right. It's very simple, but it allows me to focus on building the zoo and not going crazy building difficult metro stations underground.

You're right.
I don't know how to build, I often take things from the workshop and then I change them my way.
I need to find and download it from the workshop for my problem^^

I've got a couple of elevators on the workshop if you want them?

Stairs and tunneling are a nightmare and there aren't any escalators I'm afraid. I would save yourself the headache and put the entrance pads on the same level as your zoo, as @Aramar said, and just make the building look as though they came up from a level below.

I've tried to do exactly what you're trying to do and even after 1000+ hours in the game, I would say, it can't be done - at least not in a way that you'll probably be happy with, esp not with the nice neat glass tunnel you're thinking of. That's when I gave up and made the elevators :)
