Need help with comms. Can only see or use local chat.

I recently joined a squadron and found out I couldn't see the squadron chat. After that discovery, some testing was done and I can't see anythign other than local.
When one is trying to coordinate colonisation-efforts with multiple players, not being able to talk to them is vey restricting.

Squadron-chat: not showing, squadron-chat settings are not showing in the comms-settings.
Direct message: Messages form other players are not showing
System-chat: Not showing. When setting to tabbed in comms-settings, it shows the message: "You are currently not subscribed to any channels in this group"

I have tried with all sorts of different game-settings, but the issue stays.

If I have a setting wrong, please tell me which one.
If this is a glitch, please help me by fixing it so I can see chat.

Right, I forgot to add those. Here are the screenshot of the settings, and the screenshot of the system-tab when setting that one to tabbed.

I had a bit of hope this update would have changed something, but unfortunately I still can't use/see any chat. Screenshots were from before the update, but update didn't change anything, so they should still valid for this problem.

Just sayin' ...

I have the Squadron chat setting in that panel (mine is set to "tabbed") and Squadron Leaders to "main" - are you actually "in" a squadron - i.e. accepted not just applied? I don't know if that would stop the option being available.

I have been accepted in the squadron. Even though I'm in the squadron, the settings and chat are missing. Also, even though system-chat-settings are showing, the chat itself doesn't show. Not even direct messages work.
