A 100 year oak-aged spirit would probably be revolting. Flavour degrades with age, and too much oak ain't a good thing!

Lave is out of lockdown as of today. But the same people that caused the lockdown (AEDC) are now blockading the station, shooting everyone thats not them

We did not shoot anybody who wanted to get brandy. We were in the system to see if there were some people who followed the call to bounty hunt us. Go ask your friends who filled up a cutter with brandy. Actually we don't care at all about the brandy. It's just a side effect. But I assume it fits into your narrative.

Or go in open and actually experience the game? Brought two friends with me, loaded my cutter up without too much issue ;) Had an absolutely great experience loading cargo as AEDC and my wingmates shot each other, attempted to pirate me with a hauler, and then ended up dancing around with their ships. Why so salty about open? [big grin]

I'm a firm believer that players should have no ability to lock paid content. (engineers)

I love Open, but power creep means engineering is now essential. Ironically, my advice to use Solo & bypass AEDC is intended to empower the listener to get the gear he needs to "experience the game", as you put it.

Cool, if you’re in the right region, if it’s the right time, if your network settings are compatible and if you happen into the right instance you too can experience these unicorn filled fantasies! But mostly the modes are identical.

The whole point of this thread was to point out that Lave is not the only place to get Lavian Brandy, and the Installation in the OP is only one of Many civilian installations that have various rare goods in the cargo holds, so nothing has been locked out by a lock down or blockade or any other BGS conflict.

AEDC does not blockade any systems.
Blockading systems does not work. And never has.

We do things that work.

Would this not be considered illegal activity (looting the cargo hold)? I thought engineers only accepted legit items.
That could just be assumption on my part though.
