How stupid a machine is. Without organics there'd be no machine. Logic only brings order to that which may be ordered. The ineffable cannot be effed by a jumped up abacus. Touch, smell and sounds can be feelings. All off which means he cannot smell his own (insert oriface port here). Logic cannot explain the quantum world. Roll on with your casio fx55. I'll see you with my 3.7Billion yr old evolved brain. Which, to be fair, I waste watching TV. Sentience? he's not shown any evidence of that and Zarek's word is about as reassuring as asking Ken Dodd whether i need to update my drivers.

i see no fundamental difference. organics are nothing but machines and algorithms, unless you invoke some higher form of meaning for anything organic, for which i don't see any evidence either.

btw, if i synthetize a molecule in a lab it is indistinguishable from a molecule distilled from ooze in some pond. they are the same thing.

If you think organics are nothing but machines and algorithms, you obviously haven't met as many ladies as I have. Organics are evolved lifeforms. There are no algorithms to explain - 'fine'.
