Based on the headcount taken on my discord server, and the estimates I received regarding the opposition's side, we had maybe 130 participants total.
I might be late (missed the thread about the event) but it's nice that someone is actually RP an event like this.
Like it or not we should have more stuff like this
so what's next and where can i find more about this ? is it already over ?

That doesn't sound like too bad of a turnout, assuming everyone didn't get too spread out. How did the event go in the end?
Yes, I was wondering how much interaction there actually was amidst the loneliness of space; the California Nebula is really far out. Elite Dangerous' gameplay in general suffers, amongst other things, because the playing field is way too damn big. Even the bubble is ridiculously too vast for there to be enough random encounters. We players need to be more squished together in order for interesting reactions to occur.

The Tinman will have a mid-life crisis and decides that it wishes to be an organic. Then it gets into a tizzy because it doesn't know if it's a male or female. So then Tinman goes on a galaxy wide search for its gender identity and in the process becomes a SJW.....

I was unable to attend the actual event, and yet I was still entertained for quite some time. I'd say that's a win.
Same. Heaps of us wanted to take part but timing just would not allow. Glad he posted and would love to see some vids at some point.
Had a great time, even though I was labeled a spy while toting healing beams, repair and fuel limpets. I was fortunate enough to be instanced with the Overlord several times, and there were persistent pursuers at every refueling stop. The Overlord escaped due to his protectors, his speedy viper, and a bit of luck.

If you interpreted the event promotional advertisements as implying that thousands of commanders would participate, then you misunderstood what I was trying to communicate. I wanted to convey the feeling that millions of commanders would participate.
Yes I am often able to engage 130 people in an event I've come up with for nothing more than entertainment.......

I'd also like to see the bending moment and cantilever calculations for that design as I reckon I could arm wrestle the toaster to the floor.
Its also more pnuematic than hydraulic than I'd expect for a homicidal maniacal tinpot. Designded by a process engineer by the look of it. Bet it can sort bread rolls on a conveyor easier than bring harmony to the universe. Which is where I think Zarek drew his inspiration.
