Kudos to the creators. I could watch videos like these all day, even though I'm already playing the darn game! :D

Now I have some new material to spread the infection...

Seeing the
people walking and scaled to the ships
was amazing ;)

I thought so as well, and at least with a zoomed out view of the people you do not see the imperfections of thier form and animations which still are not perfectly nataural in any game I have seen when they are viewed up close. We are so very good at spotting the unatural up close but not so good from a distance. I liked the zoomed out view of the people.

Will you guys be releasing a soundtrack? The build-up part towards the end is just...Wish I could hear more of the "theme" in-game.
I want ships with a built-in radio where I can switch stations (like the car radio in GTA)...well I can place my wish for it here at least :)

As a digital download of the game soundtrack is part of my KS rewards there must be one.:)
My guess is the trailer music is part of that.

Any chance FD will release a transcript of the vocals? I don't understand a word, could be English, could be Latin, could be something entirely fictional - I am curious now.:D

thats awesome that they went to E3 .

its surely didnt made the frnnt covers but i guess this is alright because this aint the type of game that everyone would love.

its amazing.. i remember back in november, discovering elite dangerous throught the newsletters and dev diaries. . . it was exciting and its furthermore to see new things within the game.

+1up !

This video and the video of capital ship, released there a few months, are my two favorite videos. They are very elaborate and brings a great sensation

I think it would be if everybody knew about it.

They've had great press in Britain (magazine covers, features) but it's maybe hard to get America to take notice without a gigantic marketing budget.

At least Gamespot finally realized it exists AND they seem to have been pretty impressed with it. Hopefully they'll keep an eye on it now going forward since their previous coverage has been...well actually...disregarding the Kickstarter starting/ending they haven't even mentioned it at all.

Personally I think they really did a good job getting the word out considering they weren't part of the "big boys" presentations. Let's compare it to another crowdsourced project shall we. Did you know "Shroud of the Avatar" was shown of at E3? You didn't!? Me neither... :D

Do we know if the people there were just "photoshoped" or if they may have actually been part of the eventual in game work in progress for the First Person aspect of the game planned for expansions?

Michael wrote this previously:

The footage is all in game with some colour grading and the little people were comped in. We do like them though so they might make the game some day.

So I guess you can look at this video just like their first trailer where the cockpit was comped in the same way. Eventually they will be put in the game for real even if they aren't there right now.

This will add eventually more immersion for sure, and make this game more attractive and addictive than ever !
Thank you FD, to make our dreams come true !

Some versions of this video I've seen on various websites doesn't have the little running fellow comped into the Cobra shot.
Curious!

E3 is shaping up to being a real great opportunity to getting more people aware of ED and seeing Elite Dangerous in action.
