New Game by Frontier

Hi!! Not know if this is intended that Frontier make a new game for created a theme park. What I said is that was intended to make a game so as rct4 is dead. Please let me know news now, I want a game to build theme parks byFrontier for PC!!

We have a rollercoaster based game in the works, but I can't reveal more than that at the moment.

Michael
But Michael, The game is about building as rct3 or thrillville?? If you do you get will succeed Frontier triumph vs Atari :):) I hope the game comes out in Spanish

hello my name is Michael and I'm a fan of roller coaster tycoon 3.
I heard that Frontier is developing a similar game ...

I was wondering when it will come out official statements, trailers, and photos ....

I speak for all fans of amusement parks!!
we want a similar game of rct:)

All I can say at the moment is that we're working on a game about roller coasters. When we're nearer the launch date we'll start revealing more details.

Michael
Thanks Michael, but but I just wonder if the game will be of building a theme park or building a rollercoaster only? :)

Probably two or more years away. Expect RCT3 Junior with a few enhancements too ;) Thanks Michael! I can wait for lotsa "" err the Braben Shots

Michael clarification please.

A rollercoaster only game or an amusementpark game, there is a difference? Anything else that can now be added? :D

But the game that was based? In only build roller coasters as in No Limits? Or build a theme park with visitors as Rollercoaster Tycoon 3?

Thanks.

Is there any chance we could get a time frame on that Michael? I'm not asking for an exact release date because having worked a little myself in the gaming area with some smaller independent companies I know that announcing that kind of thing is not a great idea as it just creates people complaining later on and I know that there are so many variables that can set things back but I just mean a 'within a year' or 'within the next 18 months' for when we'll recieve some new of features or such like.

Also as a side question as you have made a Disneyland game does that mean that there is a possibility a new rollercoaster game could have licensed Disney Parks in it?

A game based on roller coasters is a mistake. If you want that, buy a copy of No Limits. Why can't you folks setup an official thread and before sinking your resources into it, simply ask the "CUSTOMERS" to let you know what they really want. The game should be an amusement park construction with some game playability as a secondary option. It should be net aware and allow people to build 3d amusement parks online and host them too on their web host.

Unfortunately Michael if you are giving us Thrillville 3 or something like that, it might not be so thrilling.

Remember the best ally you have is your customers and one last point. I remember a guy who headed up a large successful car company stating "No business ever won an argument with their customers."

Sebar very well!!!!! I agree with you, Michael, has much reason Sebar. Because so much secrecy??:S The most important are the fans of Frontier already that this company every day grows more, It is almost to have 12,000 registered users in the Frontier forums and this is much.

Do not do the game on your own, Since we do not have a RCT4 as minimum to a decent game and we don't want another Thrillville.

So Michael make a topic to ask for ideas on the new roller coaster game.

There is an old 1964 song I grew up with called "Silence Is Golden" and it wasn't a bad song at all. It was by the old group the Tremeloes

Yes a British group as well, but at least it was something you could enjoy. Though the nature of the song versus computer software is quite differing especially in those days, what irks most folks here Michael is that they feel they are being treated to Atari RCT3 Version 2 Treatment, not the game mind you but the crappy corporate mentality. That is why RCT3 failed. If you really want something gigantic you must show respect to your potential customers. While I realize you don't want to tip a business hand to business rivals, the offset by engaging a userbase and ideas early on is wickedly powerful in that it allows you to guide it the right way. Just announcing vaporware ain't gonna cut it with most. Even if you cannot supply a name for the game at least create a simple forum of its own where we can discuss and supply ideas. Call the forum for now "The New RC Game" and you can change the forum name later. That gives everyone a place to gather and supply ideas instead of stewing in a lot of vaporware nonsense.
