New Game by Frontier

And why not ask ideas in the community? Maybe the game does not like it because it is unreal or has content that we do not like.

We keep hope for RCT4 for Windows.
Do not try to send a message to Atari. Atari is a company that has no dealings with the client and do not answer messages from fans.

And besides Atari will not give any information about RCT4, because the RCT saga Atari take it as a joke and do not mind that people ask for a RCT4.

Atari omits the saga RCT and Chris Sawyer make a RCT4 like you did you do RCT games.

Look at what said me Atari by Facebook:

"We are thinking hard about the next Rollercoaster Tycoon game on PC" This is the post you are referring to. As we said in that post, we were THINKING about making it, however unfortunately, even at the time we were never positive that we would do it. We hope you understand how much we appreciate that people love RollerCoaster Tycoon, however, we are not- and haven't been, planning on making a 4th one for PC.
I just explained that in that post, we were THINKING about making it, however we were never positive that we would do it.

Forgive me, I know this is a month old, but can you link to the source message?

Also: The best way to show interest in a product (besides buying it) is by sending letters to the company. It may be for naught in the end, but NOT writing the company is a definite way to let your wishes and desires go unheard. So write Atari and do your part. Whether or not they decide to comply is another story and out of your hands, but at least you tried.

They're not doing it...

There is no RCT4 at this point and Atari doesn't need your money, okay. That said, I am still waiting a year later for Braben Shots of some type, maybe a hint. The only real amusement park game remains RCT3 and that is it.

I got the GDD of TPB3D which am discussing with some friends on stack overflow which we might look into doing.

Well thanks. We really tried to make this for everyone. The main problem must sit squarely with the original founder Doctor J because he was the senior lead coder and while brilliant (he coded the original small FRCS code in less than 48 hours and that code was super compact) he handed the coding obligation off to others and thus started many issues. We never really had a dev problem with the other groups, only as David Braben gleefully predicted on the coding end and I must say the chap was right from the beginning.

I had proposed that Frontier and others team up with the world wide community. I still feel that together with a think tank we could have really had a global market locked up. But unfortunately Frontier is a business corporate mentality and do not see the overall value in a global army behind a standard. Until Frontier and other companies take a step back and realize that a community as a global army can get way more accomplished than the models of past corporates, they will continue to be what they are and nothing grander.

RCT3's continued life clearly illustrates this. It's not easy to create and maintain a community. It takes much hard work and a true love dedication of time. In the end though, if it succeeds, the rewards are enormous beyond belief both for the open community and any corporations or businesses that realize what they are tapping.

Good luck, I hope you find success where we all failed.
