New Image on FB!

It also looks like the auto tunnel size has a slider on this options window/tab. Previously you had to click the other tab to change the size.

did anyone notice the funny name they given to the ride? :D
I think that showing that we can name rides now

I didnt know about the mine train, so thats a surprise even for me lol
But yes, height markers are godly, also confirmed theres a meters option!
And - it looks like that coaster type is designed to be placed on terrain (like a mountain) without much open air track (like what it looks like is in this screen capture). Reason I say this is if you look at the supports...not really fitting for this coaster type, but more importantly....look at the track at the bank on the left. The track is a train track type track and is back filled with a faux terrain. Doesn't look that great up in the air, but placed on terrain...it will look great.

Winter time maybe??? Rain on the way???
If you look at many of the screen captures from the past few days....most are like 1am, or 3am and its bright as noon outside. I think this is showing some of the flexibility we will have with controlling the day/night light cycles.

Maybe it's originally on a wooden structure and you can toggle this. :D

The height markers are awesome !!

(The fact that the Mine train has no wooden supports kinda bothers me for woodies...but as wowman says it's probably because it has to interact with the terrain)

The mine train looks to be based on a Big Thunder Mountain type of ride which does have a steel structure, it's just hidden by the wooden "make-up" that is around the tracks.

Mine trains are not made on wooden structures guys. In fact, in most of them don have wooden planks whatsoever or the wooden planks are faux wooden planks.

You can look for some google images of real mine trains at theme parks if you dont believe me.
Wooden structures, if present, are often done just as decoration and dont really help support the coaster.

Hype Mine Train ;-)

Seriously tho' I'm sure the only reason it doesn't have wood supports is that it's "technically" not a wooden coaster, just look at the Mine Train in Disney

Hight markers, about time we had them, no more guesswork if your 2nd hill is the same height as your 1st or if it's lower or higher

P.S. Guh, I type too slow...

This kind of mine train behind the shadows (Halloween time of darkness?) Is like real ones are! There are mine trains with steel supports and others with..... *_*

NICE ADITION! High reference is really useful all time if you care about realistic coasters jujuj :3

I get it. Not complaining or saying anything is wrong...just pointing out that this type of coaster is typically placed on terrain to hide the supports or not even need supports...much like a Thunder Mt. I would most builders of this coaster know this and don't have the track flying around in open air as in this sample...just don't like the look of that for this coaster type.

Indeed! Most of the time they are "hidden" in the landscape. And when you see them they are painted brown so it looks a bit like it's wood.
So they are quite much like how they are in real life... and i love them that way :D

Those coasters will really benefit from the very powerfull terrain tool!!

We can add "faux" wood supports however so it'll look better in our parks, speaking of that, now I gotta make room for a runaway mine train in my park now, dangnabbit Frontier why do you do this to me ? ;-)

This is a good update, now I can actually finish my Mine Train ride! Oh wait.. I can't change the coaster ;-;

I hope there's an 'imperial' option, with height markers/ paths etc, no reason to suggest there shouldn't be.

Perhaps a 'Dev' could tell us, that's hardly giving anything away [big grin]

Yeah, I'm sure they won't leave that option out! Just want to make sure lol[praise]

Its funny to how they talk about the "smaller" feature in the facebook text. And showing of the bigger feature in a "oops" way :D

The first picture was about the color wheel, and oh yes we have custom music.

this time its look at the height markers!, and oh, look at that train in the distance.

I really do hope the coaster friction gets fixed, trying to recreate real life rides is really difficult at the moment.
