Powerplay New interdiction-stuff

Use the throttle.
Mainly to do what you are doing now, to keep on target.

But there are several people in my "guild" flying the same ship, a Python. If anything, I have the least kitted ship yet I have a much better success rate than my teammates. I think all of us run the X52 or the Warthog, so joystick is probably not a factor.

So I must conclude that it is piloting skills.

Well, I used the throttle in my last 3 evenings. In the first 2 evenings, I had the best results I ever had since 1.4 debuted. So, I was really starting to think that the throttle did matter. However, I found that I had to keep it off all the time to win my interdictions. Initially, I tried to increase the throttle when I had the dot in the middle of the target reticle but found it was making me veering off. So, I kept it all the way down as soon as the interdiction was starting. The 2nd evening, I even had the best undermining session I ever had since 1.4, managed a 65% success rate, still by cutting the throttle. But yesterday was a complete disaster. I managed only 20% and those I interdicted were not even PowerPlay targets, so I ended up my session with zero merit.

So, now, I'm not so sure about the throttle, to be honest. I feel there is something with my network connection that makes the interdictions harder or easier. I don't feel I have much control over it once it starts. Of course, I can aim and yaw and pitch and roll but as I'm moving the targets is already off, sometimes jumping left and right. I'm guessing now that during my first 2 evenings trying the throttle, my network connection must have been better than usual, while yesterday, it was worst. Just a guess from my observation, nothing scientific.

Someone posted their Support Ticket response in another thread:

"QA also confirmed this was in testing on the 1.4 build on the test server, but maybe everybody was playing CQC and missed this one. Again our QA department is considering what they need to do about this now and there should be an announcement on this soon."

Well, it's been more than a week now that 1.4 has been released and still no word from Frontier. I wonder what their definition of soon is...
