New red-orange dot approaching the bubble at 0.8ly per minute-- Thargoid mothership?

I've been listening to it for about ten minutes now while doing some calculations. I hear at least four layers of sounds repeating at different frequencies. Nothing I would describe as "digital", like the fax or modem sound I described above. Everything sounds very organic in nature, maybe apart from the distorted hiss in the background. The most constant sound to me is the one that sounds like the submarine drives from 80s cold war movies . The sound is oddly captivating.

Ah, do you mean the cavitation like bubbling sounds? Makes me wonder whether that is anything to do with the UIA drives as well...

So I am parked in HIP 21134 awaiting #3. I fired up the FSS to listen to it and the sound really reminds me of something Syd and Roger would have mixed up for the intro to an early Pink Floyd song. Maybe the goids are jamming to some obscure never before released cuts from Ummagumma on their extended road trip

Currently .45 ly from Aries Dark Region EW-W D1-37, just gave it a try pointing at UIA 2, still same sound as before. It has to get closer, I guess.

Canonn's ETA for #2 is 36 hours, which places it on monday morning. Which is a shame, because I would have liked to try to drop on a slower one. I think my chances to drop on #4 are pretty slim. It moves at 23.000c, and I need to get closer than 0.1 ls.

#2 is moving at 1490c right now, if the speed in the canonn spreadsheet is still correct. That is actually doable...

It is now en route to Wredguia BU-Z c13-11, it seems.
