well, straight line from NGC2246 RE-Y c14-0 / OOCHORRS UF-J c11-0 extends first to Orion Dark Region HR-W d1-14, just scratching the west border of COL 70 Sector whilst passing through COL 69 Sector....
So now it's yellow-white.
Definitely a suspicious coincidence. Presuming they are connected, the extra signal behavior seems conspicuous enough that someone would have noticed and reported it shortly after it started. Which in turn suggests that the anomaly really wasn't detectable until the last day or so, as opposed to having been lurking out there unnoticed since the PW incident.I guess the "Signal 10" problem has to do something with the anomaly

I have a headscratcher here. What is signal 10 Came into the system, did a honk. Then opened FSS to be greeted with the message of 10 signals and 2/9 bodies. After scanning I had 9/9 bodies but no signal marker left. There are no Asteroid fields All bodies are accounted for I have surface...forums.frontier.co.uk
In every system there seems to be one extra signal without a source
Which is not to say the anomaly wasn't potentially out there, but not creating spurious signals until now. If it originated near the Cone Nebula and only just emerged into permit-accessible space, I guess it would make a kind of sense to hold off widely advertising its presence until it became possible to get close to it.

System chat in Oochorrs UF-J C11-0 is very much alive and teeming, I can tell you that. Reputedly, the object is less than 0.10 LY out from that system now and closing.
Bug? Thargoid menace? Unknown galactic object? That remains to find out.
