I've been feeling that we need a new medium multirole fighter-enabled ship for a long time now and so I set out to make something new. Using ships such as the conda, vette, mamba, FDL, orca, clipper, and courier, the beluga concept art work, and modern day luxury yacht designs I assembled what I believe is a sensible and fun concept which I am now styling to the Faulcon/Zorgon Peterson look as they would be the company I would have approached for this project. Keep in mind this is all still very much a rough draft on stats and design but I feel its been pretty well balanced so far and I feel I'm on the right track. Faster and more maneuverable than a conda, more cargo and versatility than a python, excellent hardpoint placement, etc. But its pricy due to the how friendly to customization options it is. A few fun unique details so far, the landing gear under the engine nacelles are super low profile because the belly is already raised off the ground and the cargo scoop doubles as the forward boarding ramp, there is another boarding ramp hidden in the back. I also artificially reduced the speed for its engine/ship mass much like the courier to justify the manuverability. For some reason its not allowing me to post a close up pic of my scaled drawing which better shows maneuvering thruster and utility placement. black/white conda and python pics are on same scale as my drawing(1mm:1m), conda and FDL on right were early inspiration. Snake namesake/design is the from the Ahaetulla Prasina. Let me know your thoughts. Personally, I'd be ecstatic to see this make it into the game.
