New Tier Upgrades available

im a bit of a mug for extra merchandise, and id love the t shirt and mug but these extra addons have come a bit too early, ive only just told my mrs that ive pledged £50 towards the game to which she 'pulled a face' and to say a week later that ive bought a mug and t shirt making it upto £100 she'd go mental..
to say the game isnt coming out for another 2 years, im sure they could have waited a few more months before adding thes on!

So about those low lever tiers:
Pledge £5 or more:
Be an Elite supporter, and get a digital code when the game is released to apply a transferrable decal to your ship, unique to you.
Why would you want this if you don't have the actual game?
Pledge £10 or more:
Receive the digital newsletter and progress updates, plus the reward above.
This should be the £5 option imho, as you want ALL contributors to receive news on the project (to tell their friends etc).
Pledge £15 or more:
Reserve your Commander name in the game (first come, first served, except Jameson), plus all rewards above.
Again, same issue as the £5 tier currently, why would you want this IF you don't also have the game? And how does this differ exactly from the £1,500 tier reward? In other words much more clear wording is needed in many of the current options so people know exactly what they are getting.
Edit: ok i'm going to come up with an alternative tier list (some are fine as is, but there are too many 'odd' options currently) and post that back here a little later.

All good points, but I don't think Kickstarter is ever about value for money
For example, £50 for a t-shirt and a mug? You know that's steep, but it's all going towards getting the project funded.
I dunno Steve everytime I have to fork out for a t-shirt for one of mu kids i feel a right mug.....
But, if you're getitng the game and the t-shirt and mug its not too bad if a games usually about £35ish so thats £15 for the t-shirt and mug.

As for the Commander name, this has been asked already and the difference is that the £1,500 reward is Commander XXXX Jameson and the £15 reward is just Commander XXXX. I think that means that the game won't let you use Jameson in your Commander name.

Think I saw DB say on the kickstarter site that a collectors edition version of the game will be available. That would definetely be a tier must have for me as never been a huge fan of digital downloads for the most part.
