Abandoned New Trading Tool: ETN

Its super cool, I like when the animation movement like oppai bounching..

but I dont use it recently because the update was too late.. its 8 hour ago and sometime I got minus profit..
I hope this can update realtime because I always use E.D.Market Connector to help update the EDSM and EDDB

Hmm...I'm very new to E:D and have not touched on trading yet.

But I'm finding the data from eddb.io and etn.io to differ too much.

Checking on the same route, etn.io is recommending different commodities to buy & sell for a much higher profit margin compared to what eddb.io recommended.

I've yet to fly down to the station to confirm who is right though.

This is a good tool, was using it last night to plot some routes - it made reasonable money. Couple of issues I came across:

1. One route I set Shinrarta Dezhrarta as the end-point. Because Shinrarta Dezhrarta requires a permit, I then had to select "Include systems that require a permit" to plot the route... Unfortunately, this meant that another permit system was included on the route and I didn't have a permit to that one. My suggestion would be that if a system is specified as an end-point, you don't do a permit check on it (i.e. assume that I must have the permit [why else would I choose it? :)], and don't make me have to allow other permit systems).

2. I tried the "Sell prepurchased cargo" option. This didn't work well... I had a hold full of battle weapons. I assumed that the first system on the route would be a good place to sell them... Turns out it wasn't, and I made a loss (not major, and I just carried on). Not sure if I misunderstood that part of the tool.

Thanks for the tool, though - I'll be using it in preference to the others from now on. :)

Also, is it currently pulling data from EDDN? I updated the EDDN prices on Rho Tucanae/Michell Prospect an hour ago via RegulatedNoise, but ETN is still showing old data from 4 days ago. I checked EDDB and it has the prices I uploaded, so it looks like I uploaded successfully.

I'm also curious about what's going on with ETN. The Companion API has been back up for a couple of days now and ED Market Connector is back in play, but I haven't seen any of the new EDMC prices in the ETN routes I've tried. Does anyone know why this is the case?

I can confirm that it is not working for me in Chrome but Firefox is GO as far as I can tell so far.

I've just started trying this trade tool. It's also not working for me in Chrome on PC, but is good on IE 11. On my stock Google Android phone (Chrome) also works.

Same here. Firefox + NoScript on windows.
No errors, no NoScript message.
Keeps resetting ALL fields on page including location, destination, budget, etc.
Was working some time ago in same browser + add ons on same computer.

I have the same issue with Firefox. Regardless of what I do it resets the route and the ship to that point I had before Horizons launched when it just stopped working.

I can get it to work in IE and bizarrely if I open a "private browsing window" in Firefox it works then too, just not if I call it up in a normal tab. I've tried looking for a cookie to delete but nothing shows up so I'm puzzled as to whats causing it,

EDDB exports had some duplicate listings that ETN wasn't handling well. It's fixed now. Merry Christmas all :)

Bizarre! Works for me too in private window. Thanks for this temporary "solution".

Happy to confirm that Chrome (PC) Incognito window also works.

I note that part of the algorithm for calculating routes is based on travel time to calculate CR/h profit. Do you have plans to factor in extra travel time to planetary bases?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did look but couldn't find an answer. Is there any way to prevent ground stations from being used when calculating trade routes ?

What a piece of software. I was searching last night a good trade route. Today I saw this program and gave it a try. I found a route I was looking for and tested it and voila. Thanks alot for the great program. I am not a trader by profession but when you have to do it, this program is a saver.
