New Trailer - and one important question...

I came here to ask that same thing. Get the plot-cinematics in-game. Let new commanders what's waiting out there, let old commanders know what's new.
Come on, FDev. This would be an easy win

so, everyone use cinematic video to promote their games, but if frontier do so, that's no good.

If you don't play the game then it's pretty clear you won't understand who these characters are in this video. Your refusal to engage in certain parts of the game isn't FD's problem.

Saying that, I'm not defending the fact they have a serious inability to tell a compelling story in game and haven't revised dated placeholder game mechanics even since the release of the game.

Play the game? Please.

Youtube and the forums are the only way to know anything about the story. Its not even in the game, for the most part.

Not everyone else tries to male their game look utterly unlike what it really is.

I agree with OP... maybe not completely... but here is what I would love to see in the future.

These videos showing up in my inbox when logging in and I can view them in my cockpit with some fancy display. They should still post them on Youtube etc, but... hold that off for a day or two. :)

Attacked starports as well as this engineers request is actually in the game, in Galnet, which you can listen to, if you want.

I agree that it isn't presented in the game the same way a cinematic trailer is, but it would go a long way if these sort of videos popped up in our inboxes and could be viewed from within the game on one of those fancy displays. :)

2/10

But only because you didn't misspell anything - and your grammar was acceptable, if not mistaken on one occasion. *It's*

All of it is in-game. Every last bit. Read Galnet...it's all in there. Ram Tah, the Thargoids, the galactic response, the Guardians, damaged space stations. It's. All. There.

Just giving you a hard time about the grammar bit...spelling isnt all its crackd up two be.
