New type of stars discovered in 2020: magnetars, extreme neutron stars

I would like to revive this thread because this is an amazing idea, imagine entering a system where the star is actually harmfull to the ship.

And losing all your exploration data in one go?
Well, is your decision to enter a system like that, if they add a "entering high energy star" warning before jumping you know that after entering you have to point away!

Also, damage doesn't equal instant destruction, you can literally jump inside a star when you enter close binary systems and yes its scary, but not that hard to get away.

you don't know what is in the system until you jump into it. Even vague warnings won't be enough.

Elite by design already have those kind of warning for example illegal cargo or non scoopable systems and i don't see much problem with those.
these events don't destroy your ship.

You are unable to see what is in the system unless you jump into it. And relying on just the main star indicator is too vague. You do not get more detailed data unless there. You have much more leeway in cargo and non scoopable stars.

see my edited addition above.
Yeah, saw it, still i dont see how much dangerous can be unless the player is literally afk, the kind of damage a ship can get from the concept i pressent is no more than the one that the FSD gets from doing a neutron star boost, also magnetars are incredibly rare so the danger is even smaller.
