Psykokow suggested a new version of Skool Daze

I think this can happen and must happen.
A modern version can't be that hard. Let me list off the top of my head what I can see would be required.

  • A whole school modelled. Not the 5 room thing the original was, but a whole school, lots of rooms, a canteen, an assembly hall, lecture theatre, science lab etc ... a whole school.
  • Avatars. You'd need teachers, janitors, school kids of various heights and ages, parents ...
  • Things for your avatar to do. The original had a catapult, writing on a blackboard ... a new version could have that, plus ... mix up stink bombs in the science lab ... have a food fight in the canteen ... blind other kids with the lasers in the lecture theatre ... fix your exam results in the headmasters office ...
  • Some sort of end goal, but not end the game at that point, but have goals to aim for.

Now imagine all that but MULTIPLAYER
We can do this. We have the technology. We can rebuild it.
Anyone else up for making this happen?

Typical ... a good idea comes along, and it's been done ... me is sad now

Yes, it is. The main reason I bought this game was because I thought it would be like School Daze.

I think it is a bit more about pranks rather than puzzle solving though. It has a definite American spin on it (because it is North American of course!).

See the thing is though Bullly is alright...... it aint no Skool Daze though..


Things about Skool Daze wot is good

1. Classes - having to sit through the lessons
2. Writing rude messages on the Chalkboards
3. Hitting and Catapult
4. The graphics weren't special

What it needed was a bigger school, same graphics. slightly longer classess. Questions you had to answer... quizzes and tests you need to pass or cheat on.
Multiplayer students... then it would be an amazing game..

too complicated control wise... I found bully offputting and I didnt get into it at all.. I would like to revisit it... make my mind up...
