Newb problem

Okay, I messed up. When the game first started I set the borders incorrectly. Is there any way to reset the borders of the game?

hm only way I can think of your not gonna like but here it is, uninstall everything along with game save data reinstall it so you have fresh settings I would deduce that would solve your problem.

How/when did you set the borders? Was it yesterday or this morning after the GPP2 update or before that? As far as I knew, the borders weren't adjustable. Some TVs have built-in overscan, so you lose the edge of the picture on HDMI. The only two places I have seen this on the Xbox are in ED and in Twitch streams from PC players.

Saying that my game version and server id are cut off at the bottom of my screen (HDMI-32" TV) so can borders be adjusted???

I had the same problem. I looked in-game and on the Xbox dashboard, but found nothing.

My solution was on my TV. Many modern TV's have a screen setting that is auto-fit, (and mine had options for 4:3, 16:2 or whatever the hell the aspect ratio is). Anyway, i had to settle with auto-fit.

I know it's not the answer you're looking for, but i couldn't see any alternative.

I remember doing it when I first downloaded the preview of the game and launched it for the first time.

Erm... don't forget the main view changes under acceleration/deceleration.

You can also click on the left stick to look around the cabin.

There are two ways you can do this - either through the menu on your TV, or through adjusting the display settings on your console itself. I had to do it via the console myself, as I too noticed the very edges of the screen were being cut off.

This sounds obvious, but make sure in the display settings on your Xbox, you have the display source set as HDMI. Mine was set as Auto-detect, and once I changed it to HDMI the borders were no longer cut off. I too have a 32-inch display, so I think this will solve your issue.

Yup, that did it. I went into the display settings and set the input to HDMI and then calibrated my tv. It worked. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.
