In most forces a Wing is usually made up of three or four Squadrons… Just sayin’…
Further to this, in most forces several Flights make up Squadrons, so in Elite Dangerous maybe Wings should be renamed Flights, upcoming Squadrons remain the same, and for those who are not satisfied with a cap on Squadron numbers then several Squadrons would make up a Wing.
