NGC 6664 SECTROR XE-Q B5-3 unknown signal source like the aliens ones

hello!
Im rushing my way to Colonia and i came through NGC 6664 SECTROR XE-Q B5-3 and saw an alien signature. Hell Razor5543 told me to write it up but as im doing this the signals disappeared.
A new one just appeared but it was a degraded emissions one.
It startled the bejeebus out of me.

Are the aliens known to appear this far out? Is this a fluke? Or should i be quite worried for the rest of my journey?

Its a system with only a sun in it.

Please advise.

the emissions one i did, the unknow signature one i was too late because it disappeared

All signal sources show as "Unknown Signal Source" before you target them and determine what they really are. There are plenty of Degraded emissions out in deep space and those have nothing to do with aliens.

It's the Non-Human Signals we would care to know about.

If you see another one, make sure to scan it and see if it says "Non human signal source". If that´s the case, you made the biggest discovery of November. Congrats!

I've re-positioned my DBX The Sparrow to the area for a look around.

Serveyed several systems so far with the system you mentioned as a center point, and I have good news and bad news....

Good news is, you're not crazy (or more than you already were), there are USSs in the region. Several infact, but all have been Degraded Emissions containing wreckage and "Small Survey Data Cache" cargo.

The bad news....other than those random cache, this pretty much sums up the search.

...But I plan to continue looking for a bit and see, because, why not?
