Sorry to bring up an old thread, but there's now a CMDR in a clipper warning people away from Shu Rong, claiming it's his/her patch.

Not that it makes any difference as you can just switch to Solo or PVE and still reap the same rewards.

Shu Rong used to be a nice quiet neighbourhood, with < 100 ships per day. The trading was fairly lucrative with no trouble from pirates / etc.

But now these city folk have moved in, causing all sorts of trouble ... pesky outsiders !!

I would have liked to have stood my ground, but I was in an unshielded T7 (to max the cargo), so just had to agree to their demands.

They were very courteous and said I could dock one last time, but let's just say I'm not done at Shu Rong yet
