Nintendo Switch Pro

Recently there are rumors of an upgraded version of the Nintendo Switch that has more power than the original console (much like the New 3DS being more powerful than the original version). If this comes true and Nintendo reveals that new, upgraded Switch at E3, does this mean that Planet Coaster will come to this system?

Depends on how powerful this switch Pro is. If its possible, it might need to stick with the oswald-eugene counter. Or it would have to be streamed to the console like with hitman 3 or control

Quick update, Nintendo are at E3 on June 15th. So a switch Pro announcement is possible

Heyo!

While we understand that building your coaster parks on the go would be a lot of fun, we don't have anything to announce about a Switch version of Planet Coaster.

Unfortunately, Nintendo didn't reveal a Switch Pro at E3 today and thus, there was no Planet Coaster for Switch Pro announcement. But hey, at least we have a Tekken fighter for Smash!

The standard switch doesn't have the horsepower to run some decent parks. The console versions of planet coaster have the oswald eugene counter, the switch would probably give up at 10 rides at max. And since Nintendo only wants to talk about overpriced ports of wii games, a more powerful switch doesn't seem to be in the foreseeable future

Well, we finally have an upgraded Switch, but it's not the one we were expecting, and I highly doubt that it would run Planet Coaster.

A Switch console (even a real pro version) would never be able to run PC. Actually you can't have the required hardware in a handheld device!

My PS4 can run the game pretty good, but the game has issues loading in textures. This has been the biggest complaint I have of the console edition. The game just will not load some textures properly and your park looks like a giant mess. I had reported this to Frontier, but was told it was a known issue. It is the one thing that drives me nuts. I wonder how it would look on the switch??

A switch version of planet coaster isn't happening and probably never will. But an original theme park sim would be cool. Maybe a compilation of RCT 1 and 2, like what Activision and Nintendo are doing with Tony hawks Pro skater 1 and 2, and advanced wars 1 and 2

I think RCT Classic should come to the Switch. How cool do you think it would be to play every scenario in RCT 1 and 2 using a controller?

Alternatively, we can also see a Parkitect port for the Switch as well, seeing how the game is like an improved version of the classic RCT games.

Parkitect on switch would be cool, and shouldn't be super difficult. The game isn't super demanding. But if they want buttery smooth gameplay all the time, then there might be some limits.
