we need a general discussion section , for non elite stuff , locked to the public so only owners of elite can go to that section , that way the trolls can troll over there , talk nonsense , then any trolling is banned outside of that section

This isn't about people white knighting. The guy was spamming the exact same text on the livestream and not satisfied with that brings it to the forum as well.

We got the message, he's salty about DLSS and going to take his ball and go home. Fine. He's welcome.

I think if you look at post histories of most of us posting in this thread you will find criticisms of FD in our posts as well. We are not white knights.

We just find this level of whining pitiful.

The doom carousel had been proven in the last month very well. But perhaps, it would be a good idea to sort things like in two cartogerys on the one hand ,,good sorted and honest critic to help Fdev to stay on track. And on the other hand, overreacted ,,dooms,,. And I think we would see that the so called ,,doom threads,, aren’t far from the reality.

i mean remember console cancellation, was expected by many of us and everybody shout loud ,,doom,, and now ? The dooms comes true. Or the planets tilling things, doom comes true. Perhaps some ,,doom threads,, are meaningfuller then some guys expect and accept.

and it’s sadly true that good and well sorted critic or just honest words of dissapointed fans, will get an outburst of believers

so then, remembering of some words, you don’t like it because it’s match not to your expectation/opinion live with that. But the expectations of some critical guys, are proofed in the last month.

for me, I will stay low with my expectations, this weekend I get my gaming pc rig. Therefore I could check the game by myself.

some doomers arent what you like so live with that. Because some dooming things are now bitter sweet facts.

(and I had change to the dark side and will get my hand this weekend on EDO on pc)

Unless you have fewer than six cores, more cores wouldn't help either.

Anyway, if FSR and/or resolution changes don't help your frame rate, neither will DLSS.

Demanding a feature to mask an underlying problem, rather than demanding the underlying performance issues be fixed, is silly enough. Demanding a feature that won't even mask the problem you seem to have is nuts.

DLSS is absolutely made to improve performance. However, it can only help GPU limited scenarios.

Right after Upd.12 is out and i'll see what i saw previuos 11 - garbage perfomance and no DLSS.
But i'll take my word back If they somehow magically fix it, even without DLSS (but i barely think they can since they cant for a whole year....)

Haha,written by someone who does understand whats dx version is required for dlss.
Fdev aren't going to implement dlss now.
If anything they may implement fsr 2.0, which runs on both amd and nvidia

Why put your eggs in one basket nvidia while needing to recode loads to get to the required dx level.

It's not about believers vs non-believers. There are legitimate threads and posts that criticize Frontier but this is not the one to make an example of to try and prove your point IMO.

That won't work, I think high visibility is a key part of the equation when it comes to doom trolling.
