This has to be the worst update thus far. I had hopes that we turned a corner but the lack of any quality and attention to detail speaks volumes.

I'll eat my hat if Daven Braben willingly approved this release. I'm not on about the store price increases, that was to be expected. It's the blatant lack of ANY quality control.

The ARX addon seems to be attached with dry bluetack, bug ridden and the purchase previews look like they were rendered on a Commodore 64.

I love Elite and I don't like people spoiling it.

I know this whole downtime period is super annoying for us vets. But the way some people just melt into melodrama is bizarre.

• The team on the core game is a lot smaller than the DLC team.
• This is not a year's work by that smaller team. (They just dropped an update in April for a start.)

Man, I am waiting on my core game improvements and content since 2015. Was stupid enough to buy a LEP for a $180 (was a perfect time to sell that with that planetary landing hype) and ... we all know how it went from there. Every time I see this buggy mess (like the bug when you go to the store and the second time you go to the store all controls are gone) - this really leaves no hope.

With all that money/time spent and all hope gone down the pipe all these years, with all these delays, silence and cancellations, with all those amazing, full of life youtube streams, I really have a right to be at least sarcastic and no one can tell I haven't right to feel so.

I want to see wrinkled clothes and see faces that fall apart, beards three weeks old and cups of stale coffee.
Then I know they've done everything to ensure the best quality.

Definitely not tanned legs under a vacation outfit.

Nobody is too serious in this thread .... but .......

There is a serious side ... it's not just a buggy patch, it's a patch that has broken (it seems) most other significant game segments. A quick glance at Dangerous Discussion list of threads makes depressing reading !
