No key binding enter ?

For some reason in my control menu the "enter " does not show up, and it drives me crazy because when I watch tutorials on the subject I see that it's the 1st key binding in the control menu but for some reason it doesn't in my game. So here I am not being able to bind a key to enter there for using it. Is this a bug from new patch?

Yes of course, it's supposed to enter full spectrum scanner, it wrote "enter what are you doing" in the title because I think I wrote F F S without space and as it stands for "for sake" the forum must have replaced it.

Oh wow, active censor is on these forums. Interesting., if you mean the FSS scanner that's F and TWO SS's, that's down in the mode switch section, scroll down past Driving and it should be in the same catagory that you bind the mode switch button, that or the Miscellaneous section.

Edit: I will have to keep an eye out for other forum censor shenanigans in the future.

Options - Controls - Full Spectrum System Scanner - (EXIT FSS)

The binding works for both opening and closing the scanner screen, it is near the bottom of the Spectrum Scanner binding section.

The Detailed surface scanner has an 'Exit' binding near the top of its relevant section.

777Driver, in viewing your screen shot, I was wondering, are you in active game play while viewing your bindings or is that just a desktop "background" picture underneath the bindings. I have been very frustrated because I have not found a way to view my binding while game playing and am not able to print them out...to many for me to remember as a newbie.

In game - menu (P or ESC) - select options, controls...

For a prinable view of your controls: go to EDRefcard and follow the instructions on there.

"Enter FSS" is under Mode Switches section - "Exit FSS" is under FSS

DSS has no "enter" key - the fire button opens the window - "Exit DSS" control is in the DSS section.


My hovercraft is full of eels. ;)

I wonder if the F.F.S censorship came before or after the introduction of the FSS?

Because really, every time I use the FSS I say F.F.S and what I want to do to the bloody thing would not be described as “Gentle Caress”.

If the forum would have let us - F.F.S would already be the default name for the stupid scanner mini game.
