I too noticed some low amount of ships carrying LTD's.

Quite disappointing.

Anyone got a list of good system to pirate to make a decent profit?

It's a new BGS state. No one is sure exactly what triggers it, but it seems like it has something to do with prosperity.

@Sole, those systems are good candidates for PvP piracy, as they buy void opals and other stuff at exorbitant prices.

What i gleaned from the BGS so far is:
- I saw pirate attack as a state without investment
- pirate attack state boosts up sell prices
- pirate attack and investment are very likely to be good targets for PvP piracy


Investment seems to be the go-to for hunting private couriers.

Regarding LTDs as in PvE piracy we will have to gather intel about the spawns
and loads of NPC miners to be sure, but BGS seems to be flaky given we
now have multi-state BGS, which can lead to NPC miners with low amounts of LTDs.

Seems you just don't bother reading posts. My original post in this thread was concerning the drought of LTD carrying ships in systems where only a few days ago they were plentiful.

One poster asked for tips on how to do it so I offered advice which was immediately pounced upon by a smug little person who thinks his way is some shining example we should all aspire to.

I think you read too much into the posts.
Do piracy the way you like, but don't be blind of the consequences,
i am well aware what is possible bulk piracy wise via shield tanking,
that simply is not my way.

BGS manipulation happened by murder spree which birthed the C&P,
so it is likely that pirating via the bulk shield tank method makes FD react likewise
or change NPC behaviour.

Regarding LTD piracy intel needs to be gathered and shared so it can be confirmed,
much like barnacle stuff was by the Canonn guys.

Yes, shield tank sitting-still piracy is weak, in my opinion. But you are completely free to choose to be weak. "That's what makes horse racin'," as my grandma used to say.

More importantly, it's straight boring.

For me it's the journey, not the destination. The pirate's life is its own reward.
